For safety reasons, the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration will announce a ban on sailing if the cruise encounters inclement weather conditions such as heavy fog or typhoons. Refunds will not be issued for reasons pertaining to the aforementioned conditions.
Bicycles are permitted on board for a cleaning fee of NT$100 per bicycle. However, due to differences in boat types, not all vessels can transport bicycles, so please inquire with staff in advance.
Please keep your boarding pass safe for inspection. Lost boarding passes will require the purchase of a new ticket.
Designated bicycle models are required for use at Sun Moon Lake. Other models are available for purchase in-store at an additional cost. Please inquire with our staff for details on available models and pricing.

It is recommended that you visit the official website of Sun Moon Lake Ropeway or call to confirm whether it is closed before riding.
Cable car passengers are only allowed to board the cable car at the Ita Thao Sun Moon Lake main station (entry from the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village station is not permitted).
Bicycles, unpackaged pets, or other large sharp objects are prohibited on the cable car (except for guide dogs).
For safety considerations, if adverse weather conditions such as dense fog or typhoons occur, the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration will announce a ban on boat operations, and refunds cannot be requested on these grounds.

When taking the Sun Moon Lake Ropeway using the order QR Code, entry is restricted to the Ita Thao Sun Moon Lake main station; entry from the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village station is not permitted.
