Redemption information

Your physical pass must be redeemed within 90 days from the voucher issue date
An electronic Exchange Order (valid for 90 days) will be sent to your email after booking confirmation. Please exchange your it for a JR Pass within this 90 days period
To obtain your JR Pass, present your Exchange Order and passport at any JR East offices located in airports or main train stations
Note: Redemption is not available via ticket machines, please redeem your physical pass at counters

Seat reservations can be made online, through a vending machine, or at the station counter
(1) After an online seat reservation is made: The physical JR Pass and seat-reserved ticket can be redeemed together

(2) Without an online seat reservation: The physical JR Pass must be redeemed first, followed by seat reservation at a Reserved Seat Vending Machine or station counter
