Additional information

  • Other tips: This itinerary accepts specified dates and private customization. Special note: This itinerary is only for residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Residents of Taiwan and foreign nationals are not permitted to participate.
  • Conditions in Tibetan areas are limited (water and power outages are common). Please bring your own toiletries, flashlight, wet wipes, etc. Friends with germophobia, please bring your own sleeping bag. This activity route involves high-altitude areas in Tibetan regions, so children under 5 years old are not suitable to participate; pregnant women, infants, patients with heart, lung, brain, and blood system diseases, and seniors over 60 years old should consult a doctor before traveling and proceed with caution, depending on their physical condition and within their capabilities.
  • Traveling in high-altitude regions involves inherent risks and unpredictability. All participants are considered to possess full civil capacity and are in good health. Participants acknowledge the risks associated with high-altitude travel and confirm that they do not have pre-existing conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, or heart disease. Our company will not be liable for any compensation resulting from altitude sickness.
  • This tour includes no shopping arrangements, and the driver will not make any shopping recommendations. During free time, if you do not intend to purchase anything, please refrain from bargaining with locals or lingering too long at shops. If you choose to shop, please carefully assess the product quality yourself. If you negotiate a price and agree to a purchase, please complete the transaction. Backing out of a deal after bargaining can easily lead to problems. You will be solely responsible for any disputes or conflicts that arise from such situations.
  • If there are no tourists requiring special assistance, seating will proceed in a sequential, row-by-row manner.
  • Hotel arrangements for the itinerary are managed by our room allocation staff based on room availability at each stage. Guests cannot unilaterally specify room arrangements. If the preferred hotel is fully booked, an alternative hotel will be arranged. During peak seasons or special circumstances, due to limited room availability, a hotel of the same standard will be arranged. Hotel accommodations are based on double occupancy per room, and specific room types cannot be guaranteed. If there is an odd number of males or females in the group, we will arrange for same-sex room sharing, provided it does not affect the total number of rooms. If a guest insists on single occupancy, they must pay the single room supplement directly to the hotel front desk (the specific amount is subject to the hotel's charges). Conditions in the Tibetan area are limited, and accommodation standards cannot be compared with those in urban areas. For environmental protection, it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Please check the room amenities upon entering the room. If any amenities are missing, please notify the staff immediately. Please take care of the items in the room according to the hotel's requirements. If there is any damage or loss, please compensate according to the hotel's regulations before checking out.
  • Without reducing the number of key attractions, the driver reserves the right to adjust the order of visiting attractions based on factors such as weather, flight schedules, traffic conditions, seasons, and peak season crowds.
  • In the event of unforeseen incidents, such as closures, repairs, or other objective reasons, or in the event of unexpected situations at some attractions during the itinerary, the driver will provide alternative itinerary options to ensure the smooth progress of the tour. These alternative plans will be decided by a vote of all tourists, with the minority agreeing to be bound by the majority. The tour duration will be adjusted or relevant ticket fees will be refunded based on the actual situation. Any additional costs incurred due to the changes will be borne by the tourist.
  • Traveling in the Tibetan areas of Western Sichuan presents many things you might not understand or tolerate in bustling cities. Regarding infrastructure, water, electricity, and transportation can be problematic. Unexpected water and power outages are common, and temporary traffic controls often catch us off guard. Please be mentally prepared for this.
  • Due to less-than-ideal transportation conditions in high-altitude areas, natural disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and debris flows can occasionally occur, potentially causing traffic delays. Therefore, visitors from outside the province are advised to purchase plane or train tickets for departure on the following day.
  • Guests are not permitted to leave the tour group at will. If a guest insists on leaving the tour group, they must sign a disclaimer. The guest is responsible for their personal safety and any property loss incurred during the period of separation from the tour.
  • Prepaid items in the itinerary are non-refundable (such as shared ride fees, same-day hotel bookings, etc.). No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the itinerary.
  • Our company is not responsible for any itinerary delays or additional costs incurred due to force majeure (weather, delays, etc.). Such costs shall be borne by the guests themselves. If the railway bureau temporarily cancels train services, all compensation will be implemented in accordance with the railway bureau's compensation system and is not related to our company.
  • This trip involves driving in high-altitude areas throughout the entire journey. The route is long, and road conditions are complex, so vehicles may break down. If a vehicle breaks down, we ask that tourists wait patiently or work together to resolve the issue. The standard procedure is as follows: If the vehicle cannot be repaired within 2 hours, in order to avoid impacting the trip, we will arrange for a local vehicle to continue the trip. The cost will be covered by the company. We ask for your cooperation in this matter. Tourists who refuse to change vehicles will be considered to have voluntarily forfeited the trip. We will refund any unused accommodation fees and entrance tickets, and the contract will be terminated.
  • During your trip, please take care of your valuables at all times. When resting in your hotel room at night, please fasten the security lock and ensure that doors and windows are securely closed.
  • Please respect the original culture, local customs, and religious beliefs. Customs and habits influenced by religion differ from ours. During your visit, please keep in mind the travel precautions explained by the driver. In any situation, do not mention political issues related to ethnic minorities to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
  • When traveling, please pay attention to your health. Avoid eating raw food, raw seafood, peeled fruit, patronizing unlicensed roadside stalls, and overeating. Drink plenty of boiled water, eat more vegetables and fruits, and reduce smoking and alcohol consumption. When first arriving at high altitudes, do not shower for the first two days. After two days, decide whether to shower based on your physical condition to avoid catching a cold, which may cause or worsen altitude sickness and affect the entire trip. Water and electricity supplies may be insufficient in high-altitude or Tibetan areas, which may result in unstable water temperatures. Before showering, test the water temperature with your hand to avoid burns from excessively hot water or catching a cold from excessively cold water. Water outages may also occur during showers, so shower quickly. If you have long hair, it is recommended to wash your hair and body separately to avoid running out of hot water or experiencing a water outage before you are finished.
  • The travel agency will procure relevant insurance suitable for this activity for each tourist. In the event of personal injury during the activity, the injured party shall be compensated by the insurance company in accordance with legal regulations and this statement, based on the insurance policy. The agency assumes no liability for compensation in the absence of gross negligence. For those who register on behalf of others, the agency assumes no liability for compensation if the participant suffers personal injury.
  • The travel agency provides complimentary basic travel accident insurance, but does not purchase it on behalf of tourists. If tourists believe the coverage amount is insufficient for their needs, they may purchase higher coverage insurance on their own.
  • [About Photography]
    1. When photographing in high-altitude and Tibetan areas, please respect local regulations and customs. Refrain from taking pictures of checkpoints, bridges, military management areas, private residences, temples, religious ceremonies, and other places where photography is prohibited. Forcibly taking pictures may result in the confiscation of your camera or more serious consequences. Tourists are responsible for any adverse consequences and impacts resulting from such actions.
    1. In Tibetan areas, taking photos of local Tibetans, Tibetan mastiffs, or yaks at or near scenic spots usually involves a fee. It is recommended to either avoid photographing these subjects or pay willingly. When taking portraits of people in pastoral areas, temples, or other locations, try to obtain their consent. If you are refused, please stop taking photos immediately.
    1. The ability to capture stunning photos during the trip, and the type of photos you can capture, depends on a combination of factors such as weather, lighting, and season. It's largely a matter of luck. The team will not be able to extend the stay at a particular spot simply because satisfactory photos were not taken.
