Special Instructions

• 1. Conditions in Tibetan areas are limited (water and power outages are common), so bring your own toiletries, flashlights, wet wipes, etc. If you are a clean freak, please bring your own sleeping bag.
• 2. This tour route involves high-altitude areas of Tibetan regions, and is not suitable for children under 5 years old. Pregnant women, infants, individuals with heart, lung, brain, or blood system diseases, and seniors over 60 years old should consult their doctor before traveling, exercise caution, and assess their physical condition to determine if they can participate and to what extent.
• 3. Traveling in high-altitude areas has certain risks and unpredictable factors. All participants are considered to have full civil capacity and be in good health, and are aware of the risks of high-altitude tourism. Travelers should not have underlying diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, or heart disease. Our agency will not be liable for any compensation caused by altitude sickness.
• 4. There are no shopping arrangements on this route, and the driver has no shopping recommendations. During free time, if tourists do not have any purchasing needs, they should avoid bargaining with locals or lingering too long. If tourists voluntarily choose to shop, please carefully assess the product quality. If an agreement is reached after bargaining, please make the purchase. Regretting a purchase after bargaining can easily cause trouble, and any conflicts arising from this will be the tourist's own responsibility.
• 5. If there are no tourists requiring special attention, seats will be taken in turn, one by one.
• 6. The hotels listed in the itinerary will be allocated by our company's room coordination staff based on room availability at each stage. Group tours cannot unilaterally specify room assignments. If the preferred hotel is fully booked, an alternative hotel will be arranged. During peak seasons or other special circumstances, due to limited room availability, a hotel of the same standard will be arranged. Hotel accommodations are based on two people per room, and room types cannot be specified. Under circumstances that do not impact the total number of rooms, if the group has a single male or female traveler, our company will try to arrange same-sex room sharing. If the traveler insists on a single room, they must pay the single room supplement to the hotel. Conditions in Tibetan areas are limited, and accommodation standards cannot be compared with those in cities. For environmental protection, it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. When entering the room, please check the room's amenities. If any items are missing, please notify the service staff immediately. Please take care of the items in the room according to the hotel's requirements. If there is any damage or loss, please compensate according to the hotel's regulations before checking out.
• 7. Without reducing the main attractions, the driver has the right to adjust the order of visiting attractions based on factors such as weather, flights, traffic, season, peak season crowds, etc.
• 8. If a sudden accident occurs at some attractions during the trip, such as a closure for repairs or other objective reasons, or if a sudden situation occurs, the driver will report to the travel agency. The travel agency will provide a revised itinerary to ensure the trip proceeds smoothly. The revised itinerary will be voted on by all tourists, with the minority yielding to the majority. The tour time will be adjusted or the relevant ticket fees will be refunded based on the actual situation. Any expenses incurred due to the changes will be borne by the tourists.
• 9. Traveling in Tibetan areas involves many things that you cannot understand or tolerate in prosperous cities: in terms of hardware, there are problems with water, electricity, and transportation. Sudden water and power outages often occur, and temporary traffic controls often catch us off guard. Please be prepared for this.
• 10. Due to the less than ideal transportation conditions in plateau areas, natural disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and debris flows may occasionally occur, which could lead to traffic jams and delays. Therefore, it is recommended that friends from outside the province purchase plane or train tickets for departure on the second day.
• 11. Tourists are not allowed to leave the group at will. If they insist on leaving the group, they must sign a written statement. The guest is responsible for any personal safety or property loss during the period of separation.
• 12. Prepaid items during the trip are non-refundable (such as ride-sharing fees, same-day hotel bookings, etc.). If you voluntarily abandon them, the fees will not be refunded.
• 13. Our company is not responsible for itinerary delays or other expenses caused by force majeure (weather, delays, etc.), and such expenses shall be borne by the tourists themselves. If the Railway Bureau temporarily cancels the train service, all compensation will be implemented in accordance with the compensation system of the Railway Bureau, which has nothing to do with our company.
• 14. This trip will be driven entirely on the plateau, with long distances and complex road conditions, so the vehicle may break down. If the vehicle breaks down, please be patient and wait, or work together to solve the problem. The normal procedure for resolution is as follows: if the vehicle cannot be repaired within 2 hours, in order not to affect the itinerary, we will call a local vehicle to continue the subsequent itinerary, and the cost will be paid by the company. Please cooperate with us. For tourists who refuse to change vehicles, it will be deemed that the tourist voluntarily abandons the itinerary, and we will refund the accommodation and ticket fees that have not been incurred, and the contract will be terminated.
• 15. During your trip, please always take good care of your valuables. When resting at night, please fasten the security lock on the hotel door and close the doors and windows.
• 16. Respect the original culture, local customs, and religious beliefs. Tibetan customs are influenced by religion and differ from ours. When visiting, please keep in mind the travel precautions explained by the driver. Do not mention political issues related to ethnic minorities in any situation. Avoid talking about topics related to "pigs." Do not touch children's heads casually to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
• 17. When traveling, pay attention to your health. Do not eat raw food, raw seafood, or peeled fruit, patronize unlicensed roadside stalls, or overeat. Drink plenty of boiled water, eat more vegetables and fruits, and smoke and drink less alcohol. When first arriving on the plateau, do not shower within 2 days, and after 2 days, decide according to your own physical condition to avoid catching a cold that may cause or aggravate altitude sickness, which will affect the entire trip. In the plateau or Tibetan areas, water and electricity supplies are insufficient, and water temperature may be unstable. Before taking a shower, test the water temperature with your hand before preparing to take a shower to avoid burns caused by excessive water temperature or colds caused by excessively cold water. It is also possible that water outages may occur during the bathing process, so shower quickly. If you are a girl with long hair, it is recommended to wash your hair and take a bath separately to avoid the situation where you have not finished washing and the hot water has run out or the water has been cut off.
• 18. The travel agency will arrange relevant insurance suitable for this activity for each tourist. If personal injury occurs during the activity, the injured party shall be responsible for compensation liability according to the law and this statement, and the insurance company shall execute compensation liability according to the insurance regulations. In the absence of subjective fault, our agency does not assume any compensation responsibility. For those who sign up on behalf of others, our agency will not bear any compensation responsibility if the participant suffers personal injury.
• 19. The travel agency provides basic travel accident insurance as a gift, rather than purchasing it on behalf of the customer. If tourists believe that the insured amount cannot meet their needs, they can purchase insurance with a higher insured amount on their own.

About Photography

• 1. When photographing in plateaus and Tibetan areas, please respect local management regulations and customs. Do not take pictures of checkpoints, bridges, military management areas, private residences, temples, religious activities, or other places where photography is prohibited. Forcing photography may result in confiscation of the camera or more serious consequences. The team members will be responsible for any adverse consequences and impacts caused by this.
• 2. In Tibetan scenic areas or near scenic spots, taking photos of Tibetans, Tibetan mastiffs, and yaks usually requires payment. It is recommended not to take photos of these subjects, or to pay willingly. In pastoral areas, temples, or other places, when taking portraits, try to obtain the consent of the person being photographed. If you are refused, please stop taking pictures immediately.
• 3. Whether you can get good photos while traveling, and what kind of photos you get, is determined by a combination of factors such as weather, light, and season. It completely depends on luck. However, the team cannot increase the length of stay because a satisfactory photo of a certain attraction was not taken.
