Additional information

• This tour involves a considerable amount of walking and stairs. Please make sure you are fit enough to participate

• How to apply Rental equipment

• Please apply from the "Rental Application Form" in the "Application Guide" email sent after your reservation is confirmed

• The deadline for submitting the rental application form is 11:59 PM four days before the tour. The operator will not be able to prepare rental items for applications submitted after the deadline or for applications with incomplete information (such as unregistered sizes). Please arrange the necessary equipment yourself

• The deadline will not be extended even if you apply for a tour on a short notice. Please note that the rental equipment cannot be used for tours booked within 3 days of the application date

• If you apply for a tour on short notice (within 3 days of your application date), the operator may contact you by phone from the Yamakara Yakushima store to confirm your booking details. If they cannot contact you by 3:00 PM on the day before the tour, they will cancel your reservation

• Similarly, if the tour operator cannot confirm your payment and submission of the "Yakushima Additional Information Form" by 3:00 PM on the day before the tour, they will cancel your reservation

• Tours will proceed rain or shine. Cancellation or date changes due to weather reasons will be treated as customer cancellations and are subject to cancellation fees

• No cancellation fee will be charged if the tour operator decides not to hold the tour due to heavy rain warnings, mountain trail conditions, a state of emergency, or other reasons

• If you are unable to come to Yakushima due to flight or boat cancellations, we do not charge a cancellation fee

• Please be sure to pack breakfast, lunch, and some snacks for during the trek

• Please inquire with your accommodation about the availability of prepared breakfast and lunch boxes

• It may not be possible to catch a flight departing from Yakushima on the same day the tour ends. Please book your departure flight for the day after the tour or later
