The Small Wild Goose Pagoda, also known as "Jianfu Temple Pagoda," was built during the Jinglong period of the Tang Dynasty and, like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, is an important symbol of Chang'an City that has been preserved to this day. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient bell in the bell tower of Jianfu Temple are collectively known as one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Guanzhong."
