- By bus: From downtown Oakland BART stations, take the Line 96 bus out to Alameda Point, where the museum is located
- By car: Drive via the Bay Bridge to I-880 South, take the Broadway/Alameda exit, continue on 5th Street, and then enter the Webster Street Tube to Alameda; free parking is available beside the museum pier
