• Participants must be aged 4+ to participate in this activity
• Free for children aged 0-3 as long as they will not occupy separate seats

Additional information

• A sumo stable is not a tourist facility. Sumo practice is a serious competition. Please participate with an understanding that there are strict rules for spectators. If you cannot pay respect to the master or wrestlers and follow the rules, you may be asked to leave without being allowed re-entry or a refund
• Please do not enter the sumo stable without permission
• Remove your shoes and sit cross-legged on the tatami mats. Avoid pointing your feet towards the ring, as it is disrespectful
• Please do not stand on the ring or in the sand area. The ring is a sacred place for the wrestlers only
• Please refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking in the sumo stable (you may drink water, tea, or sports drinks on hot days)
• During practice, observe quietly and avoid unnecessary movement within the room. The practice session typically spans 1-2 hours
• Please turn off your phone and refrain from making calls during the observation
