Three-day tour of Meili Snow Mountain in Shangri-La, Yunnan

Day 1

• Departure: Meet the operator at 07:00 - 09:00. Enter your preferred location at checkout. The operator will make the final confirmation accordingly. • [Attraction/experience] Self-guided, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Tiger Leaping Gorge is located in the southeast of Zhongdian, 105 kilometers away from Zhongdian County and 35 kilometers away from the First Bend of the Yangtze River. It is divided into three sections: Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge, Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge, and Lower Tiger Leaping Gorge, with a total of 18 dangerous shoals. The narrowest part of the river is only 30 meters wide. The river is flanked by the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba Snow Mountain, with an altitude difference of more than 3900 meters. The canyon is extremely deep.
• [Attraction/experience] Yila Grassland, Napa Lake, also known as Yila Prairie, is a seasonal alpine lake located in Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It is situated 8 kilometers northwest of the county seat, with an altitude of 3266 meters. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with peak elevations ranging from 3800-4449 meters. During the summer, snowmelt forms the lake, which recedes in the autumn and winter seasons.
• [Attraction/experience] Helong Bridge, Helong Bridge was built in September 1958. The bridge is situated at a strategic and precipitous location on the Jinsha River, resembling a hidden dragon and a crouching tiger. It is magnificent and spectacular and was originally named Fulong Bridge.
• [Attraction/experience] Jinsha River Moon Bay, Moon Bay, also known as the First Bend of the Jinsha River, marks the boundary between Yunnan and Sichuan provinces. One side is Benzilan Town, Deqin County, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province, while the opposite bank is Zigeng Township, Derong County, Sichuan Province.
• [Attraction/experience] Self-guided, Baima Snow Mountain Yakou, Driving along the Yunnan-Tibet Highway (G214) to cross the Baima Snow Mountain Nature Reserve requires traversing two mountain passes: Shuolaralaka Pass at an altitude of 4,000 meters and Baima Pass at an altitude of 4,292 meters. --Passing through Baima Snow Mountain Pass, the altitude here reaches 4,292 meters.
• [Attraction/experience] Self-guided, Feilai Temple, Feilai Temple is located on the滇藏 Highway (Dian-Zang Highway), about 10 kilometers from Deqin County, directly facing the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain, Mount Kawagebo, making it an excellent spot for capturing the "Golden Sunlight on the Snow Mountain." Due to its special geographical location, it has become a tourist center along the滇藏 route, complete with guesthouses and restaurants.

Day 2

• [Attraction/experience] 飞来寺观景台, Feilai Temple Viewing Platform is an important hub for entering Meili Snow Mountain or Yubeng, facing directly towards the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain, Kawa Karpo. It is a place to worship the thirteen peaks of Meili Snow Mountain, burn incense, and pray for blessings.
• [Attraction/experience] Self-guided, Misty Peak Observation Deck, There are two main places to view the Meili Snow Mountain from a distance: Feilai Temple Viewing Platform and Wunongding Viewing Platform. Before the Feilai Temple Viewing Platform was built, most tourists viewed the Meili Snow Mountain from here. --You can capture a panoramic view of the Meili Snow Mountain here, using Feilai Temple Village and the river valley as the foreground.
• [Attraction/experience] Self-guided, Dukezong Ancient City, Dukezong Ancient Town is the best-preserved and largest Tibetan residential cluster in China, and also a pivotal point on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Located in Shangri-La County, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province, Dukezong Ancient Town is an ancient city with a history of over 1300 years.
• [Attraction/experience] Turtle Mountain Park, Guishan Park was established during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. The park is built on a mountain, and at the summit is Chaoyang Tower, a three-story structure. Ascending to the top of the tower, one can see the entire Riyue City. At the foot of the mountain is an ancient well that provides drinking water for the entire town, known for its pure and sweet taste. Many years ago, every morning, groups of young women carrying water created a beautiful scene in the ancient city.

Day 3

• [Attraction/experience] Pudacuo National Park, Pudacuo National Park boasts geological formations, lake wetlands, forest meadows, rare flora and fauna, and a well-preserved primitive ecological environment. It is located 22 km from Shangri-La and covers a total area of approximately 1313 square kilometers.
• [Attraction/experience] Early to mid-month, Xiaozhongdian is located south of Shangri-La County, in a high-altitude坝区 (basin area) with large, lush meadows. From late May to mid-June each year, it transforms into a sea of flowers, with colorful and dazzling azaleas, Stellera chamaejasme, Gesang flowers, and various unknown wildflowers and grasses, drawing exclamations of admiration from tourists.
• [Return] 18:00 - 19:00, at Old Town District, Return to the Lijiang assembly point for group dissolution; the dissolution time is for reference only due to potential unforeseen circumstances.

• Children with a height of 120cm and above will be charged the same rate as adults

• Children aged 1-10 must be accompanied by a paying adult

• Seniors aged 70+ should present a medical certificate before participating
