Eligibility

• Children aged 3-12 must be accompanied by a paying adult
• Children aged 16+ will be charged the same rate as adults
• We advice an age of 10 years and older. However, we don’t check for a birth date at the ticket desk and assume that the (adult)guidance estimates if the child is old enough.

Additional information

• Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue

• Pregnant women or participants with neck or back conditions must notify a staff member at their entry of the Amsterdam Dungeon. Staff will brief you on information you must be aware of during the experience

• The Amsterdam Dungeon is not recommended for people who suffer from claustrophobia

• The Amsterdam Dungeon is really dark and may cause difficulty in navigating the attraction for people who are visually impaired

• Due to health and safety guidelines, bringing in of guide dogs to the Amsterdam Dungeon is prohibited. We also believe that, due to the nature of the attraction, it is not the most suitable environment for dogs and it could unsettle some dogs

• For security reasons, bringing large bags into The Amsterdam Dungeon is prohibited. Large bags and other luggage can be safely stored at Amsterdam’s Central Station

• The Amsterdam Dungeon uses a variety of sound and light effects. If you are sensitive to this, please note that participition in the tour is at your own risk

• The Amsterdam Dungeon can accommodate participants with wheelchairs. However, please note a complete tour of the attraction can not be experienced. Admission to the attraction's last show is also prohibited due to technical effects of the show

• The tour is available in Dutch and English

• Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue

• Please note: During public holidays and school vacations, special opening hours may apply

• Special extended opening hours on October 26th (until midnight) and October 31st (until22:00)

How to redeem

• The I amsterdam City Card comes in digital form and works on smartphones through our app. To use the City Card you will need to download the I amsterdam City Card app and add your card to it. Activate the card only when you are in Amsterdam and ready to use it. Make sure to charge your smartphone well to ensure you have access to it all day! Through the app, you can transfer cards to your family members or friends and navigate the city through a map highlighting the best locations.
