The One-Eyed Train is one of the most historically valuable exhibits in the museum, being Taiwan's first electrified coal-transporting train and currently the only operational miniature train in Taiwan.

Converted from a trolley car that transported coal to the current park's sightseeing train, many railway enthusiasts are flocking to make a pilgrimage.

To allow visitors to understand the working conditions of miners, a simulated mine tunnel has been set up in the museum, built according to actual scale and conditions.

How to get there

By bus: Take the train and transfer to the Pingxi Line at Badu or Ruifang. Get off at Shifen Station and walk back approximately 800 meters to reach the entrance.
By car: Take National Highway No. 3 to National Highway No. 5, exit at the Shiding Interchange, continue onto County Highway No. 106, and turn left after crossing the railroad crossing at the 69K marker in Shifen to arrive.
