Eligibility

  • Full Fare: Ages 18 to 64
  • Concession Fare: Applicable to children aged 6–11 (any nationality); students with a valid student ID or ISIC card (not including community colleges, language centers, or short-term credit courses); holders of the Volunteer Service Honor Card (50% discount) such as members of civil defense, volunteer police, volunteer traffic police, volunteer firefighters, neighborhood watch, mountain volunteer police, disaster prevention and relief groups, and other officially organized volunteer units.
  • Other eligible individuals as announced by the zoo—please refer to on-site notices
  • Those who meet the concession requirements must present valid identification upon entry. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility for the discount

  • Storage areas are available at the venue. Please contact staff on site for rates

  • Visitors are not allowed to feed the animals without permission from the staff

  • Pets are not allowed inside the venue, with the exception of service animals with valid identification

  • Smoking and drinking is not allowed. You will immediately be asked to leave if caught by a staff member

  • Present your voucher and exchange it for a physical ticket

  • Scan your digital QR Code via ticketing machine to redeem paper tickets, hand the paper tickets to ticketing staff for entry. After redemption, the physical ticket is only valid for use on the day of redemption

  • By metro: Take MRT Wenshan-Neihu Line and get off at Taipei Zoo Station

  • By YouBike: Ride YouBike to Exit 2 of Taipei Zoo Station. There’s a YouBike station where you can return bike.

  • By car: From National Freeway No.1 (Chungshan Highway): Go to Chien Kuo North Highway, turn left on Hsinhai Road to Second Northern Highway then take Wanfang Interchange (toward Muzha). Turn left into Muzha Road, then turn right onto Wanfu Bridge, and turn right onto Hsinguang Road

  • By car: From National Freeway No.3 Second Northern Highway: Take the Muzha Interchange to National Highway No. 3A then take the Wanfang Interchange (toward Muzha). Turn left into Muzha Road, turn right onto Wanfu Bridge, and then turn right onto Hsinguang Road

  • By car: From National Freeway No.3 Second Northern Highway: Take the Muzha Interchange then turn right onto Hsinguang Road
