• [Attraction/experience] Guided tour, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, This temple was built by King U Thong, who founded the Ayutthaya Dynasty in 1351. The striking pagoda is 72 meters high. This pagoda was built in 1592 to commemorate the victory of King Naresuan the Great in a duel with the Burmese army prince. You can climb the pagoda and enjoy the surrounding scenery. The reclining Buddha in the temple grounds and the statues in the corridor are also impressive symbols of Ayutthaya.

It is said to have been built in 1374 by the third king, but it remains in the state it was destroyed in by the Burmese army invasion, and is a representative ruin of the 14th century.
