• The tour normally returns to Nagano Station around 4:00 PM, with the listed 4:30 PM end time allowing for traffic, winter road conditions, and other operational delays.
• Enjoy a tasting of two premium local sakes (60 ml each) in Obuse. Guests who prefer not to join the tasting may enjoy extra free time in Obuse. Lunch includes a choice of chicken, pork, or vegetarian dish.
• The legal drinking age in Japan is age 20. Please bring a valid ID for proof of age.
• Enjoy free time to explore Obuse’s traditional streets, cafés, local shops, chestnut specialties and galleries at your own pace. Guests interested in Japanese art may also choose to visit the Hokusai Museum independently at their own expense.
• Merchants can not serve alcohol to anyone who will be driving a vehicle

Eligibility

• This activity has no age limit
• Important: Infants and children must be included in the passenger headcount
• Age categories: Adult age 10+, Child age 3–9, Infant age 0–2. Infants join free of charge; lunch is not included. Wheelchairs and strollers cannot be accommodated, child seats are not provided, and luggage cannot be accommodated on this tour. The forest trail takes approximately 30–40 minutes each way and may be snowy, icy or slippery in winter. Wear sturdy non-slip footwear and weather-appropriate clothing. Japanese macaques are wild animals; sightings cannot be guaranteed, and no refund is provided solely because monkeys are not present. The 8:45 AM departure may include an optional self-guided Zenkoji Temple visit; the 9:35 AM departure does not include Zenkoji.
