Eligibility

• Important: Infants and children must be included in the passenger headcount
• Children of all ages can participate as long as they are confident snorkelers & competent swimmers (Children must be surpervised at all times by an adult)

Additional information

• Two snorkel sites are visited, with total in-water time of approximately 60–120 minutes across both locations while the vessel is moored
• Skill level required: Strong snorkeling ability and confident swimming skills are essential. Conditions may include wave action, even in sheltered areas around the islands

Start times of this snorkeling experience may vary seasonally:

• Year-round (Dive combined trips): Depart at 07:30, returning to the dive shop approximately 13:30
• Summer season (Snorkel-only trips): Morning or afternoon departures may be available on demand. Morning trips depart at 07:30 and return around 12:30. Afternoon trips depart at 12:30 and return to the marina between 16:30-17:00. Please check at the time of booking as the availability varies

Snorkeling conditions in Coffs Harbor:

• Dive sites range from 5–20 m in depth, with no areas shallow enough to stand or touch the bottom
• Snorkeling in the Solitary Islands Marine Park is weather and visibility dependent, with a minimum visibility requirement of approximately 15 m
• Sites are in open ocean conditions at depths of 5–20 m, with no shallow standing areas. Swell and wind can affect comfort and clarity on any given day
• When conditions are suitable, the area offers rich marine life including fish, turtles, and coral. Trips may be rescheduled or cancelled if conditions are not ideal to ensure a quality experience

• It is recommended to bring travel sickness medication for guests who may experience sea-sickness during this course, as the operator cannot provide any medication (The operator recommended to not use ginger as a form of medication)
• Trips are subject to weather and sea conditions and may be cancelled if deemed unsafe. All decisions are made by the operator, prioritizing safety. Rain is not considered adverse weather and may enhance marine life activity
• Snorkeling equipment is available for hire for guests joining this snorkeling trips (Equipment hire is not available for standalone rental)

• Please be mindful not to feed the marine / wild animals or engage in any activity that may damage the ecosystem
• Water skill Level Requirement: Intermediate
• The activity is able to accommodate the following dietary requirements: vegetarian diets
