Additional information

• Pick up and drop off your bikes at The Vines Village and return them after your 3-hour ride
• The operator provide a winery map along with suggested routes and activities for your day, and wineries may charge a small tasting fee, accept EFTPOS or credit cards, and the operator recommend allowing 45–60 minutes per winery
• This activity includes a modern bike, helmet, lock, baskets on bikes to carry your gear and high-visibility vest and local recommendations on wineries, dining, and wine selections
• In three hours, you’ll cover around 4–6km, with enough time to comfortably visit about three wineries, and with over a dozen within a ten-minute ride from our base you can also explore at your own pace
• Marlborough has over 150 wineries, with many close to The Vines Village including Whitehaven, No. 1 Family Estate, Cloudy Bay, Allan Scott, Wairau River, Nautilus, and Framingham
• Some wineries (Like Cloudy Bay and Hans Herzog Estate) require bookings, while others allow walk-ins or scheduled tastings, so it’s best to check ahead and book in summer
• No fitness level is required, as the valley is mostly flat and you can ride at your own pace along recommended bike paths and quiet country roads suitable for everyone
• The operator offer standard bikes, e-bikes, tandems, kids’ bikes, tag-alongs, trailers, and baby seats, and the tour is family-friendly for all ages
• Children are welcome, with a full range of kids’ bike options available for all ages, allowing them to enjoy the vineyard scenery and overall experience even if they are not wine drinkers

• The legal drinking age in New Zealand is age 18. Please bring a valid ID for proof of age
• Fitness Level Requirement: Beginner
• Participants who appear intoxicated may be refused service. In this case, no refunds will be given
