Schlitterbahn New Braunfels is a cashless park that accepts credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, with Cash-to-Card kiosks available for guests carrying cash

Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic food into the park, provided any coolers comply with the park’s cooler guidelines; alcohol and glass containers are not permitted, and all coolers and picnic items will be inspected upon entry

Guests are advised to leave valuables at home or secure them in a locker, as the park is not responsible for lost or stolen items; glasses and sunglasses should be secured with a neck strap, especially on rides

Guests must wear appropriate swimwear designed for water activities; T-shirts, cover-ups, and swim shoes are permitted, while swimwear should remain family-friendly and not overly revealing

Natural shaded seating is available throughout the park, and guests are encouraged to use sunscreen, hats, beach footwear, and lightweight clothing for sun protection; cabanas are also available for reservation

Schlitterbahn New Braunfels Waterpark features two sections located a few city blocks apart, with complimentary trams operating throughout the day to transport guests between them

Life jackets are available free of charge in limited quantities at select locations on a first-come, first-served basis, and guests may also bring their own Coast Guard-approved life jackets; kids’ tubes are complimentary but personal flotation devices are not permitted for use in the park

Lap riding is not permitted on any attractions in the park

Schlitterbahn remains open on most rainy days, but may temporarily close attractions during severe weather such as lightning, heavy rain, or high winds, and will reopen them once it is safe; no rain checks or refunds are provided

Several rides have minimum height requirements, and Schlitterbahn uses a rating system with signage at each attraction to indicate ride details, thrill level, and required skills; some attractions also have weight restrictions that vary by ride and are displayed individually for guest safety and comfort

Service animals are welcome, but they are not permitted in water attractions, wet decks, wading pools, or rivers

Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue
