  • Gloves: You must wear thick gloves! Prevent injury from being pinched by crabs or cut by sharp shells or coral.
  • Non-slip shoes / rain boots: Slippers or bare feet are strictly prohibited. The surface of the reef is very slippery with moss, and there are often gravel and broken coral. Ordinary sneakers are easy to get wet and not slip-resistant. Rain boots are a good choice.
  • Electric fishing and blast fishing are strictly prohibited, as is the use of chemical agents.
  • It is prohibited to damage coral reefs and to catch protected animals (such as hawksbill turtles and giant clams).
  • Take your trash with you: When leaving, please take all plastic bottles, packaging bags and other garbage with you to protect the marine environment.
  • When beachcombing, please be sure to stay in safe areas and do not venture into deep sea areas without careful consideration.
  • Pufferfish: If you catch a spiky fish (pufferfish) that's as round and puffy as a balloon, don't touch it, and definitely don't eat it! Its internal organs are highly poisonous. It is recommended to take a picture as a memento and then gently release it back into the sea.
  • Sea snakes / Eels: If you see a long, black, strip-like creature deep in a crevice, do not reach in to grab it, as it is likely a sea eel or a sea snake.
