• There are 130 steps to enter the Paris Catacombs and 112 steps to exit
• Some sections of the tunnels are narrow and may not be suitable for individuals with claustrophobia. In certain areas, low ceilings may require slight stooping, though participants will remain standing upright throughout the tour
• Sturdy footwear is recommended as floor can be slippery
• Sweater or a light jacket is recommended as the catacombs remain at a constant temperature of 14°C/57°F
• Due to the nature of this activity, it is not recommended for persons with respiratory difficulties, cardiac problems, claustrophobia, impaired physical mobility or those in wheelchairs
• Only 200 visitors are allowed in the tunnels at any one time. If numbers reach a maximum the Catacombs staff reserve the right to hold the entry lines until there is sufficient space. Any delay should not be more than 5 minutes for our small group
• This activity is not stroller and wheelchair-accessible

• How to get there: By metro: The nearest metro is Denfert Rochereau (lines 4 and 6). Exit at Sortie 1 and you will see the entrance to the catacombs directly across the street
