- Please arrive at the designated location in advance, allowing enough time to put on a kimono and do your hair. If you are late for your appointment, you may only be able to wear the kimono after the tea ceremony.
- When entering the tea room, please speak softly and set your phone to silent. Maintain an upright posture when sitting. If you are not confident in sitting seiza style, you may bring knee pads and foot cushions, or request a small seiza stool.
- Tea Ceremony Process: Understand the basic steps of preparing and tasting tea, such as the direction of the tea bowl's rotation and how to hold it. Follow the tea ceremony spirit of "harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility," showing respect for the tea utensils, tea leaves, and the host.
- Item usage: If you need to use the restroom, please be careful to tidy your kimono to avoid soiling or disarray. Please take care of the tea sets, handle them gently, and do not casually touch tea sets that are not for display.
- Photography regulations: Find out in advance whether the tea room allows photography and videography. If you need to take photos, be careful not to disturb the tea ceremony.
- Language communication: Learn greetings used at tea ceremonies, such as using a special gift envelope (with mizuhiki) for giving gifts, and writing your name in advance with a brush.
- If you have any special circumstances, such as dietary restrictions or feeling unwell, please inform the teahouse staff in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
- To ensure you have a better event experience, we strongly recommend arriving at the store 1 hour in advance. Arriving early not only helps you avoid rushing but also allows you to prioritize choosing your preferred seats.
- Notes: The order time is the start time for matcha. If you have reserved a kimono, please arrive one hour in advance. For example, if the matcha starts at 11:30, please arrive at the store by 10:30 for the kimono experience. An email will be sent to you after placing the order; please be sure to check it.
- Notes: If you are late, the kimono experience may not be possible, and the kimono portion will not be refunded. You can only enter the matcha experience according to the scheduled time.
- Important: If you are 30 minutes or more late, you will not be able to enter the experience room. Please make sure to confirm before placing your order. Please attend the experience on time.
- Restrictions for pregnant women: Due to the restrictive nature of kimono attire and the kneeling etiquette required for tea ceremonies, kimono dressing and tea ceremony experiences cannot be provided to pregnant women.
