60-Minute Photo Shoot
Photo shoot (80-100 photos taken within 60 minutes)
All photos will be shared in the data within 2-3 days after careful brightness correction.
Customers can select up to 6 photos for retouching, including edits such as skin and teeth whitening, and slimming. Please send the photo numbers for retouching within one month of receiving the photos. Delivery will be within 1-2 weeks after we receive the photo numbers. Retouching requests cannot be processed after one month.
For locations further away from Kiyomizu-dera and Gion, such as Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari, Osaka, Nara, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), and Uji, please select a photography service of 2 hours or longer. If you book a 1-hour session and specify a kimono location other than Gion, the default meeting point will be Gion Minamiza Theatre or Yasaka Shrine.
During peak tourist season, the schedules of kimono shops can be unpredictable. The photographer will confirm the exact time and itinerary with you the day before the shoot. If the shooting schedule or time needs to be adjusted on the day of the shoot, please inform the photographer the day before. After the shooting time is agreed upon, if your kimono dressing will be later than the agreed time on the day of the shoot, please contact the photographer at least 1 hour in advance. If you do not contact us one hour in advance, the shooting time will be based on the agreed time. If the photographer receives your notification one hour in advance, they will help you change the new shooting time. If the photographer's schedule is full that day, you may need to change to another photographer. If all photographers are fully booked, you will need to change to another date for the shoot. (The new shooting time cannot be changed again.)
On the day of your shoot, the photographer coordinated with you to change the appointment time due to travel reasons. This was also one hour in advance, and the default acceptable time frame is plus or minus half an hour from the agreed-upon time.
If you request a specific photographer, the shooting time needs to be arranged according to the photographer's actual schedule. If the requested photographer is on leave, we can help you change to a new photographer.
Due to the large volume of our data, photos will only be saved on our online drive for two weeks before being deleted. Please inform the photographer during the photoshoot if you require a longer storage period. Restoring the hard drive after the online drive data is deleted after one month will incur a fee of JPY 16,000.
Gion is not just one street, but a large area. We recommend researching the specific areas you'd like to photograph in advance and informing the photographer a couple of days before the shoot. The photographer will then let you know the actual situation, such as whether photography is prohibited in that area. For example, Yasaka Shrine, Maruyama Park, and the block in front of Yasaka Shrine are all within the Gion area. (The photographer will confirm with you whether you want to shoot in these areas because many customers like these areas. We also recommend them based on previous summaries and shoots, but we never force anyone to shoot in certain areas. If time allows, our studio will try our best to meet everyone's requirements. However, some places are more crowded, which affects the quality of the photos, so the photographer will communicate with you in advance. We appreciate your understanding.)
Due to everyone's support, we've added two photographers this maple leaf season. As photography is also a demanding job, our photographers will take occasional leave during the off-season based on studio bookings. We appreciate your understanding if your designated photographer changes.
Please allow at least 1 to 1.5 hours for your kimono dressing appointment. Our packages do not have a limit on the number of people, but for reservations of 4 or more people, we recommend booking a 2-hour or longer photoshoot. The photographer will contact you the night before the shoot via WhatsApp or LINE to confirm the specific shooting time and other details for the next day. If you have not registered these apps with your contact number, please contact us in advance.
By default, booking 2 sets of services means 1 photographer will shoot for 2 hours. If you need 2 photographers to shoot for 1 hour simultaneously, please inform the photographer in advance.
The photo delivery format is JPG. If you require other formats, please inform the photographer before the shoot.

You'll get a full refund if you cancel at least 48 hour(s) before the activity date (destination local time)
In case of unforeseen events or extreme weather, the operator reserves the right to cancel the booking. If this happens, you have the option to reschedule
Refunds and changes in date or time may be accommodated in cases of cancellation due to force majeure or unforeseen events. This is subject to merchant/operator approval; Klook will not be held responsible for unapproved changes or refunds
Full refunds will only be issued for unsuccessful or rejected bookings
Lost, stolen or damaged tickets can't be refunded

If you've attended at least one experience, visited at least one attraction or used one of the tickets, you cannot request for refunds
In the case of inclement weather or other factors that are not controlled by us and/or Courier Provider that interfere with the Courier Provider’s ability to deliver the products/items, Merchant and/or Courier Provider will attempt to procure delivery as soon as reasonably possible, and if this is not feasible, Merchant will cancel the delivery and we will issue you a credit or refund of the purchase price for the relevant booking
