• Beneath the glacier lies the active Katla volcano. However, the area remains safe, with constant monitoring of Iceland's volcanoes
• It is important to note that glaciers are constantly changing, as large amounts of ice melt daily. As a result, new ice formations may emerge, while others may disappear within hours
