Eligibility

• Children aged 0-8 must be accompanied by a paying adult

Additional information

• Hot springs may cause health risks for expecting mothers, people with bleeding disorders, hypertension, heart problems or those wearing a pacemaker

• There is wheelchair access around the complex including a wheelchair ramp access in one pool. There are aqua chairs and lifts available in many of the pools. Accessible changing rooms are available as well

• Swimsuits or shorts are available for hire - $ 7plus a $20 refundable deposit

• Towels are not included in the entrance price but can be hired. Cost - $5 hire plus a $10 refundable deposit

• For pregant women, care needs to be taken not to become overheated and keep regularly hydrated. It is not recommended the use of Sulphur or Hexagon pools due to their high temperature. If unsure please consult with your doctor or mid-wife

• Fresh water lap pool: 28°, Family activity area (fresh water): 29°, 3 Sulphur pools: 40-42°, 9 open air Thermal pools: 33-40°

• It is suggested that children under 2 spend time in the cooler pools of the complex (up to 37 degrees). This does not include the Sulphur or hexagonal pools

• Hurunui ISITE & Visitor Centre: 10am to 6pm
