• Guests cannot participate barefoot. Please wear or bring clean socks, even if your socks are wet from the rain or damp from the heat during the day. Socks are available for purchase
• Please refrain from wearing perfume as the room, made from natural materials, is sensitive to smells
• Please come with long skirt or long trousers. Short pants or skirts are not allowed to avoid damaging the mat in the tea room
• The Japanese sweets contain no eggs, nuts, gluten, or animal products
• Tea bowl and high-quality matcha sourced from a tea farm in Uji is available for purchase on site
• Please come on time to be respectful of the tea ceremony instructor’s time.
