Eligibility

• Free for children aged 0-2

• Children aged 3+ will be charged the same rate as adults

• Children aged 0-15 must be accompanied by a paying adult

• Chaperone policy: Guest who are aged 16+ may be asked to show government issued photo ID with date of birth at the entrance

• Guests aged 0-15 without a chaperone will not be permitted to enter or remain in the park after 14:00 local time through park close on Saturdays, and 16:00 local time on all other days through park close without a chaperone who is aged 21+ and has a valid government-issued photo ID

Additional information

• Please note that Carowinds is a cashless park. Credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are accepted. Cash-to-Card kiosks can transfer cash to a card which can be used anywhere, not just at the park
• Loose articles are not permitted on most rides and should be left with non-riders orsecured in lockers. Cell phones, keys, wallets, or other small items must be secured in cargo pockets orzippered jacket pockets. All loose articles which cannot be secured must be left in a locker or with anon-rider prior to entering the queue
• Ride accessibility: Guests of larger or smaller size; guests with heart, back or neck conditions; pregnant guests; guests recovering from recent surgery; and guests with casts, braces, restrictive devices or certain disabilities may not be safely accommodated

• Carowinds offers a wide variety of foods. Many of our products contain or may come into contact with common allergens, including wheat, peanuts, soy, tree nuts, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, and others (Please speak to a chef or F&B supervisor for guidance and recommendations onsite)
• Cameras, GoPros, cell phones, or other any recording devices (Photography or video) are prohibited on all rides and attractions to ensure the safety of our guests and associates
• Smoking is strictly prohibited inside Carowinds, and only permitted in the designated smoking area outside of the North Gate.
• Stroller and wheelchair rentals are located next to Guest Services at the North Gate Entrance (Please remember that a form of identification must be presented, which consists of driver's license, state ID, military ID or season pass)

• Lost items: Please head to Guest Services located near the North Gate to report
• Selfie sticks are permitted in the park (Use of selfie sticks are strictly prohibited on any ride due to potential safety risks)
• All drones are prohibited
• Camera policy: On-ride photography of any kind is strictly prohibited on any ride other than the Carolina Skytower and the use of camera phones or any type of photography or video recording device is prohibited in any restroom or Carolina Harbor Waterpark changing areas
• A baby care center is available onsite, located in Camp Snoopy and equipped with comfortable rocking chairs, a microwave, and a diaper-changing station to use
• Lockers are available to rent inside the park (located at the North Gate & South Gate entrances, Carolina Harbor Waterpark, Thrill Zone next to Fury 325, and the Blue Ridge Junction next to Copperhead Strike)
• First Aid stations are located in Carolina Boardwalk-area, across from the Carolina Goldrusher, and next to Harbor House in the Carolina Harbor Waterpark
• Re-entry rule: Guests who leave the park and plan to return the same day must get their hand stamped before they leave the park at the exit gate
• Service animals (Defined as a god that has been individually trained to perform tasks for a person with disabilities) with valid identification are allowed in the park, must be controlled with a restraining device and must display appropriate behavior at all times within the venue
• Due to the nature of most rides, service animals must remain with a non-riding member of your party. Service animals are also not permitted in water attractions, wet decks, wading pools, or lazy rivers
• Service animals are permitted to walk through the park areas, including scare zones and mazes. A relief area is located behind the North Gate Guest Services
• Special seating requests on Fury 325 or Thunder Striker are not being accommodated onsite
• Line jumping, cutting in front of others, saving a place in line, or leaving a line and trying to re-enter may lead to ejection from the park
• Chaperone policy: 1 chaperone may accompany no more than 10 guests aged 0-15 per day

Accessibility

• Braille and large print copies of the Guest Accessibility Guide are available on a first-come, first-served basis at Guest Services
• A Quiet Room at North Gate Guest Services for family members or caregivers to take a break and reduce sensory stimulation
• Guests with casts and braces will be restricted from riding rides where the cast or brace will not fit safely inside the ride unit or where it will present a hazard to the Guest or others, or where it is prohibited by the manufacturer of the attraction
• Guests with full arm (elbow restricted) and full leg (knee restricted) casts or braces are restricted from most rides and water slides at Carowinds (It is recommended to delay your visit until the cast is removed)
• Guests with any type of prosthesis should not ride unless they can ensure the device is properly secured and will remain in place during the ride. Braces with exposed metal parts are not permitted on the water slides in Carolina Harbor
• Guests with leg prostheses are not permitted to ride Afterburn, Air Racers, Fury 325®, Gear Spin, Kiddy Hawk, Thunder Striker, or Windstar
• Guests with any prostheses are not permitted to ride The Airwalker or Copperhead Strike®
• Guests with certain amputations may be able to ride Afterburn, Air Racers, The Airwalker, Fury 325®, and Thunder Striker with a separate supplemental restraint harness, provided the guest has remaining leg and arm remnants to be secured by the harness. Guests should check with Guest Services to determine if they are eligible to ride using the supplemental restraint harness
• Guests with any upper extremity prosthesis must ensure the device is properly secured or removed prior to riding the following rides: Charlie Brown’s Wind Up, Electro Spin, Kite Eating Tree, Slingshot, Vortex, or Zephyr
• Re-entry is not permitted during SCarowinds events

Park rules & prohibited conduct

• No weapons, firearms, ammunition, knives, pepper spray, fireworks, or other hazardous items

• Clothing with offensive content, excessive nudity, or identity-concealing face coverings is prohibited. Family-friendly costumes are permitted if they do not conceal identity

• Disruptive, unsafe, aggressive, harassing, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated

• Offensive language, fighting, theft, and unauthorized sales or distribution of materials are prohibited

• Guests must follow all instructions from park staff and security

• Accessing restricted areas is not permitted

• Photography or filming that disrupts guests or operations is prohibited. Filming is not allowed on most rides and attractions

• Re-entry to the venue is permitted. Show your ticket/wristband/stamp upon re-entry at the entrance

• Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue

• This activity is wheelchair-accessible

Booking changes policy

• The booking can’t be changed if it was booked with Klook Pass, under pre-sales or comes with a freebie.

• The booking cannot be changed if the voucher has not yet been issued.

• Bookings made using SG Culture Pass or Taiwan Culture Points cannot be changed.

Usage validity

• The voucher is valid only on the specified date (and time if applicable)
