Eligibility

  • Important: Infants and children must be included in the passenger headcount
  • Free for children aged 0-2
  • Children aged 16+ will be charged the same rate as adults
  • This activity has no age limit
  • Individuals who are assisting visitors with disabilities are eligible for a free admission

Additional information

  • It is recommended to allow at least 45 minutes - 1 hour to walk through the whole venue
  • Service animals: Only service dogs are permitted on-site due to the nature of the venue's free-flight facilities and bird sensitivity
  • Service dogs will be kept in a crate in a monitored area during the visit
  • Visitors are encouraged to bring their own crate for the dog's comfort
  • Allergy notice: Bird Kingdom is not a peanut or nut-free facility

  • Meeting area: In front of North American Striped Skunk exhibit and Egyptian Fruit Bat exhibit (3rd floor)

  • Lorikeet landing (Payable onsite):

  • 10:00-11:00, 11:30-12:30, 13:00-14:00 & 14:30-16:30 (Last Lorikeet feeding ticket is being sold at 15:30)

  • Meeting area: Main Aviary

  • Parrot encounters (Payable at CAD 12.99 per participant onsite):

  • 1 ticket allows one person to hold a parrot

  • Individuals must be aged 5+ to participate in this activity

  • Open schedule throughout the day (Last ticket being sold at 15:30, and subject to availability)

  • Meeting area: Base Camp

  • Please note that the parrots participate by choice, and the type of parrot is not guaranteed

  • Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue

  • Pets are not allowed inside the venue, with the exception of service animals with valid identification

  • This activity is wheelchair-accessible

How to get there

  • By car: Take the Queen Elizabeth Wy (QEW) to Highway 420 (The Falls), exit at Victoria Avenue, and follow it to Benedr Hill and Ontoraio Street to reach Bird Kingdom

  • By car: Take I-90 West to I-90 North, follow the Niagara Falls to cross the Rainbow Bridge into Canada, then turn right on Falls Avenue and right again on Hiram Street

  • By car: Take I-90 East to I-190 North, follow the Niagara Scenic Parkway to cross the Rainbow Bridge into Canada, then turn right on Falls Avenue and right again on Hiram Street

  • By bus: Take bus 603 to the Bird Kingdom stop, and walk for 1 minute

  • Parking is available on-site at CAD 5 per hour

  • The parking lot has upper and lower parking, and payment machines are located on both levels
