Additional information

  • Maximum of 7 people per group. The experience and lunch time is from 10:30 to 13:30.
  • Children aged 6 and above are charged the adult price; children under 6 are free of charge but will not be provided with lunch. If lunch is required, please book an adult package.
  • Please arrive at the activity location on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your reservation may be cancelled.
  • Each of the following steps will be demonstrated on-site by the instructor, making it easy and enjoyable for both children and adults to participate.
  • Step 1: Knead the Udon Dough. Stomp on the ball of udon dough with your feet, using your body weight to increase the udon's elasticity (firmness).
  • Step 2: Roll out the Udon dough. Use a rolling pin to spread the elastic Udon dough. While checking for thick or thin spots, spread the entire dough evenly.
  • Step 3 Adjust the shape of the dough using a rolling pin to refine its overall form.
  • Step 4. Cut the dough into noodles. Cut the noodles to a width of approximately 5 mm to create chewy and delicious udon noodles. (The width of the noodles can be freely set, but 5 mm is recommended.)
  • Step 5: Cook the Udon Noodles Cook the udon noodles you and your partner made in a pot, finding your preferred texture. At the same time, adjust the soup base to your desired strength and create your own unique udon noodle dish.
  • Step 6: Lunch featuring seasonal vegetable tempura harvested from Maruyama Garden allows you to experience a symbolic scene of the traditional Japanese lunch style.

  • Dress code: Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity. Socks are required for this experience, so please bring your own.
