Those with asthma/breathing or heart conditions, or those who are feeling unwell, will not be able to visit the crater. -The Nakadake Crater may be closed due to weather conditions, wind direction, or other reasons. If the crater is closed, the tour will be changed to a distant view of Mt. Nakadake volcano from the Aso Volcano Smoke Overlook Park.
