Day 1: Meet your tour guide in your downtown hotel lobby, start today's adventure from Tian’anmen Square which is considered as the largest public square in the world.

Use the convenient fast track to enter the Tian'anmen Square, then follow your tour guide to stroll through the massive square. You will see these buildings: Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum, the Monument of the People's Heroes and more.

2-Day Beijing Highlights Tour: UNESCO Sites, History&Culture

Follow your tour guide to explore the Forbidden city, where the Ming and Qing Emperors resided for more than 500 years. You will visit the Hall of Great Harmony, the largest wooden structure in China where the emperor used to hold official ceremonies.

You will also admire the Hall of Preserving Harmony, used for banquets and for imperial examinations and the Inner Court, where the Emperor lived.

After exiting the Forbidden City, take a break for a delicious Peking duck lunch at a local restaurant.

Move on to the Temple of Heaven, a famous complex of ceremonial buildings used by the Ming and Qing emperors to pray for good harvests and worship the god of heaven. First, make your way to the temple showpiece: the 15th-century Hall of Prayer for Good Ha

Next, walk along the Danbi Bridge, the temple’s main pathway to the south part of the temple. Learn the stories of the 9-Dragon Juniper, a 500-year-old tree resembling climbing dragons.

Your next stop is the Beijing Drum and Bell Towers, get to know the history about the area, then enjoy a relax walk along the old city and Hutong Allays.

Day 2: Meet your tour guide in the lobby of your Beijing City hotel and head directly to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours, your tour guide will explain the history and stories along the way.

Upon arrival, you will have your own choice of taking the cable car or chair lift up to the breathtaking wall, spend 1 to 2 hours to hiking up and down at various sections and explore different Watch Towers.

When you are ready to leave, take the fun toboggan ride down to the ground, you also can choose to take the ski lift/cable car.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Summer Palace which is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in China.

During the 2-day tour, our daily service duration is 8 hours. If you wish to extend the service beyond 9 hours per day, an additional fee of 200 RMB per hour is required to be paid to the guide and driver.

Departure: Get picked up at 07:30 - 09:00. Enter your preferred location at checkout. The operator will make the final confirmation accordingly. Your private guide and driver will pick you up directly from your hotel within Beijing’s 4th Ring Road. If your accommodation is located beyond the 4th Ring Road, an additional surcharge will apply..The operator will re-confirm your pick-up time in advance

Please note that Tiananmen Square functions both as a tourist attraction and a political activity center, and may be closed on an irregular basis. If the square is not open to the public or reservations cannot be secured, we will skip this site and replace it with another attraction in the city. As Tiananmen Square is free of charge, no refund will be applicable under such circumstances. Please kindly note this.
Security checks at Tiananmen Square are particularly strict during peak seasons, with waiting times sometimes exceeding two hours. If your waiting time for the security check exceeds one hour, we will recommend taking a vehicle to tour the square, and your guide will explain the square’s history to you while by the square.
Chinese citizens (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) need to book this tour 7 days in advance. By regulation, please submit Chinese name & ID number when reserving and present the ID on the tour day to join the tour
