If the square is not open to the public or reservations cannot be secured, we will skip this site and replace it with another attraction in the city. As Tiananmen Square is free of charge, no refund will be applicable under such circumstances. Please kindly note this.
  • Security checks at Tiananmen Square are particularly strict during peak seasons, with waiting times sometimes exceeding two hours. If your waiting time for the security check exceeds one hour, we will recommend taking a vehicle to tour the square, and your guide will explain the square’s history to you while by the square.
  • Chinese citizens (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) need to book this tour 7 days in advance. By regulation, please submit Chinese name & ID number when reserving and present the ID on the tour day to join the tour
