• Conditions in Tibetan areas are limited (water and power outages are common). Please bring your own toiletries, flashlight, wet wipes, etc. Guests with particular sensitivity to cleanliness should bring their own sleeping bags.
• This tour itinerary does not include any shopping arrangements, and the tour leader or driver will not make any shopping recommendations. During free time, if participants do not wish to make purchases, they should avoid bargaining with locals or lingering to watch. If participants voluntarily choose to shop, please carefully assess the product quality. If a price is agreed upon after bargaining, please proceed with the purchase. Regretting a purchase after bargaining can easily lead to trouble. Participants are responsible for any conflicts or consequences arising from such situations.
• If there are no team members requiring special assistance, seating will be on a rotational basis.
• Hotel arrangements in the itinerary list are subject to allocation by our company's room coordinators based on room availability at each stage. Tourists/travel agencies cannot unilaterally specify room arrangements. If the preferred hotel is fully booked, an alternative hotel will be arranged. During peak seasons or special circumstances, due to limited room availability, a hotel of the same standard will be arranged. Hotel arrangements are based on two people per room, and room types cannot be specified. If there are single males or females in the group and it does not affect the total number of rooms, our company will arrange for same-sex room sharing. If guests insist on staying in a single room, they must directly pay the single room supplement to the hotel front desk (the specific amount is subject to the hotel front desk's charges). Conditions in Tibetan areas are limited, and accommodation standards cannot be compared with those in cities. For environmental protection, it is recommended to bring your own toiletries. Please check the room amenities upon entering the room. If any amenities are missing, please notify the attendant immediately. Please take care of the items in the room according to the hotel's requirements. If there is any damage or loss, please compensate according to the hotel's regulations before checking out.
• Without diminishing the key attractions, the tour leader reserves the right to adjust the order of visiting attractions based on factors such as weather, flights, traffic, season, peak season crowds, etc.
• In the event of unforeseen incidents, closures for maintenance, or other unexpected circumstances affecting certain attractions during the tour, the tour leader will propose alternative itinerary options to ensure the smooth continuation of the trip. These alternative plans will be subject to a vote by all participants, with the majority ruling. Sightseeing time will be adjusted or relevant ticket fees refunded based on the actual situation. Any additional costs incurred due to these changes will be borne by the traveler.
• Traveling in the Tibetan areas of Western Sichuan presents challenges you might not understand or tolerate in bustling cities. Infrastructure issues like water, electricity, and transportation are common. Unexpected water and power outages occur frequently, and sudden traffic controls often catch us off guard. Please be mentally prepared for these possibilities.
• Guests are not allowed to leave the group at will. If a guest insists on leaving the group, they must sign a waiver. The guest is responsible for any personal safety issues or property loss that occurs during the period of separation from the group.
• Prepaid items in the itinerary are non-refundable (such as shared ride fees, same-day hotel bookings, etc.). No refunds will be issued for any items voluntarily forfeited.
• Our company is not responsible for any delays or additional costs incurred due to force majeure (weather, delays, etc.). These costs shall be borne by the guest. If the railway bureau temporarily cancels train services, all compensation will be implemented in accordance with the railway bureau's compensation system and is not related to our company.
• This trip involves driving in high-altitude areas for extended periods, with complex road conditions, and there is a possibility of vehicle breakdowns. If the vehicle breaks down, please be patient and wait, or work together to resolve the issue. The standard procedure for resolving this is as follows: If the vehicle cannot be repaired within 2 hours, we will arrange for a local vehicle to continue the itinerary to avoid delays. The cost will be covered by the company. We appreciate your cooperation. Any team member who refuses to switch vehicles will be considered to have voluntarily abandoned the trip. We will refund any unused accommodation and entrance fees, and the contract will be terminated.
• Please take care of your personal belongings and valuables during your trip. When resting in the evening, please fasten the hotel's security lock and close the doors and windows.
• Please respect the local culture, customs, and religious beliefs of the region. Due to religious influences, Northwestern customs differ from our own. When touring, please remember the tour guide's instructions and related tourism precautions. In any setting, avoid mentioning political issues related to ethnic minorities and refrain from discussing topics related to "pigs" to prevent unnecessary misunderstandings.
• When traveling, please pay attention to your health. Do not eat raw food, raw seafood, or peeled fruit. Avoid patronizing unlicensed roadside stalls and overeating. Drink plenty of boiled water, eat more vegetables and fruits, and smoke and drink less alcohol. When you first arrive on the plateau, do not take a bath within 2 days. After 2 days, it depends on your physical condition to avoid catching a cold, which may cause or aggravate altitude sickness and affect the entire trip. The water and electricity supply in the plateau or Tibetan areas is insufficient, and the water temperature may be unstable. Before taking a bath, please test the water temperature with your hands before preparing to take a bath to avoid burns caused by excessive water temperature or colds caused by excessively cold water temperature. Water outages may also occur during the bathing process, so you should take a quick shower. If you are a woman with long hair, it is recommended to wash your hair and take a bath separately to avoid running out of hot water or a water outage before you have finished washing.
• The organizers of this event will purchase relevant insurance for each participant that is suitable for this event. In the event of personal injury during the activity, the injured party shall be compensated by the insurance company in accordance with the law and this statement, and in accordance with insurance regulations. Our company shall not be liable for any compensation in the absence of subjective fault. If someone registers on behalf of another person, our company will not be liable for compensation if the participant registered on their behalf suffers personal injury.
• The travel agency provides complimentary basic travel accident insurance, but does not purchase it on behalf of guests. If guests believe the coverage amount is insufficient for their needs, they can purchase higher coverage insurance on their own.
• When taking photographs in high-altitude and Tibetan areas, please respect local regulations, customs, and traditions. Photography is prohibited at checkpoints, bridges, military management zones, private residences, temples, religious ceremonies, and other locations with photography restrictions. Forcibly taking photos may result in camera confiscation or more severe consequences. Team members are responsible for any adverse consequences or impacts resulting from such actions.
• In Tibetan scenic areas or near them, photographing Tibetan people, Tibetan music performances, or yaks usually requires payment. It is recommended to avoid photographing these subjects or pay willingly. When taking portraits in pastoral areas, temples, or other locations, try to obtain the person's consent. If refused, please stop taking photos immediately.
• The ability to capture great photos while traveling, and the type of photos you get, depends on a combination of factors such as weather, lighting, and season. It's really up to luck. However, the group cannot extend the stay at a particular attraction simply because satisfactory photos were not taken.
• For your safety, please keep your valuables with you at all times! Do not leave valuables in hotel rooms or on tour buses. Please safeguard your personal belongings during the tour. The travel agency is not liable for any losses due to personal negligence.
• Regarding Accommodation: The default arrangement is a hotel twin room, with two adults per room. This itinerary does not offer room sharing. If you are traveling with an odd number of adults, please be sure to purchase one "Single Room Supplement." Single travelers will be assigned a private room. For three adults traveling together, please purchase one additional "Single Room Supplement," which will provide you with two rooms.
• Please bring valid identification with you when you depart. You will be responsible for any losses incurred due to not having valid identification, such as being unable to check in for a flight, board a train, check into a hotel, or visit attractions.
• Travelers must ensure they are in good health before participating in travel itineraries arranged by the travel agency. Deception or concealment is not permitted. The travel agency is not responsible for any accidents that occur due to a traveler's health condition.
• The travel agency does not recommend tourists participate in activities where personal safety is uncertain. The travel agency is not responsible for any consequences arising from tourists acting independently.
• Due to less-than-ideal transportation conditions in highland areas, natural disasters such as landslides, mudslides, and collapses may occasionally occur, potentially causing traffic jams and delays. Therefore, visitors from outside the province are advised to purchase plane or train tickets for departure on the following day.
• If a traveler voluntarily leaves the group or changes their itinerary mid-tour for personal reasons, it will be regarded as a waiver. The travel agency will not be able to refund any fees, and the traveler will be responsible for any other costs and safety issues that arise as a result.
