• Regarding vehicles: Tibet's overall reception capacity is relatively limited, and the formal tourist vehicles are relatively old. The vehicle conditions are not comparable to those in mainland cities. Tibet has a high altitude, and most tourist vehicles do not have air conditioning or do not use air conditioning (using air conditioning can easily cause the vehicle to move slowly, and the internal heat and external cold can also easily cause a cold). The Tibet region has interval speed limits for road travel (for example, XX kilometers of travel time must not be less than 2 hours), so the vehicles will randomly select stopping locations to get off the vehicle to rest and wait. Please be aware of this.
• Regarding group tours: Individual travelers will be picked up from different hotels before departure, which may involve waiting for other travelers. Please be mindful of the time. Transportation will be arranged according to the number of people. If travelers voluntarily abandon the tour, the transportation fee will not be refunded. • Regarding Luggage: Due to Tibet's high altitude, excessive luggage can reduce the power and maneuverability of tour vehicles and affect passenger comfort. Each person is limited to one 26-inch suitcase and one carry-on backpack. The tour guide will notify guests in advance to store excess luggage at the hotel front desk in Lhasa.
• Regarding hotels: If single men or women appear in the group, the travel agency has the right to arrange triple rooms or shared rooms according to the actual situation, or the tourist shall make up the single room supplement for individual travelers joining a group. • Regarding meals: Main meals are at your own expense. If you choose to forgo a meal for personal reasons, the meal fee will not be refunded. If you are not accustomed to Tibetan cuisine, you may bring your own food. • Regarding tour guides: This is a small group tour, and the travel agency will arrange tour guides in the corresponding language according to the actual situation. • Regarding procedures: Some scenic areas require a Border Permit. However, the requirements for obtaining a Border Permit within Tibet are subject to change. Therefore, it is best for Chinese citizens to obtain a Border Permit from their local Public Security Bureau before departure. Foreign visitors uniformly require one. Both Chinese and foreign tourists can register to participate in our group tours. Taiwanese compatriots and foreign tourists need to apply for a Tibet Travel Permit in advance.
• Regarding pick-up and drop-off: If tourists need to arrive in Lhasa before our fixed departure date or leave Tibet after the end date, they need to pay an additional fee for individual pick-up and drop-off; if the flight booked by the tourist is not within the free pick-up and drop-off time, they need to pay an additional fee for individual pick-up and drop-off. This trip is a group tour, and guests with similar arrival/departure times will be arranged together for airport transfers, and guests may have to wait for up to about 2 hours. • Potala Palace tickets are subject to a real-name reservation system. A valid ID (ID card, household registration booklet, or passport) is required for reservation. Once the reservation is successful, you will not be able to reserve tickets again within 7 days from the date of the visit. If tourists provide incorrect information resulting in their inability to enter the Potala Palace, the travel agency will not be held responsible for any consequences. Tourists must bring the original of their valid ID before the visit. Tickets for the following day are released daily from 7:00-23:59 via the "大昭寺预约" (Jokhang Temple Reservation) WeChat mini-program, until the daily quota is reached. Therefore, ticket reservations must be made 1 day in advance. Please make your reservation under the guidance of your tour guide. Jokhang Temple is a religious temple and not purely a tourist attraction. Your understanding is appreciated if it is not open to visitors due to special circumstances such as important religious events.

• As the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple both require real-name reservations, please ensure that you bring your original valid ID and follow your guide's instructions to enter at the scheduled time. For ease of climbing stairs during your visit, we recommend wearing flat shoes. Please dress modestly and respectfully, avoiding shorts, short skirts, exposed chests or backs, and open-toed sandals. Please remove hats and sunglasses before entering the halls. Please refrain from loud talking, chasing, climbing, lying down, spitting, littering, or touching cultural relics inside the halls. Photography and videography, touching relics and murals are strictly prohibited inside the Jokhang Temple, the Potala Palace, and within all scenic spots in Shol City. Do not bring liquid beverages into the palace, and smoking or open flames are strictly prohibited.
• The Potala Palace is tall, so please walk slowly when going up and down. The interior of the palace is relatively cold, so it is recommended to prepare a jacket even in summer. The main tour of the Potala Palace is limited to 1 hour. Tour guides are not allowed to stay inside the halls for extended periods or speak loudly; explanations can only be provided outside. Please be respectful and abide by the regulations of the cultural heritage site. The Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple are ancient buildings with narrow passages and many wooden stairs. The up and down traffic shares a single narrow staircase, so admitting too many tourists can easily create safety hazards. Please leave as soon as you finish your visit. • Tibet, a fascinating tourist destination that combines history, culture, ethnic customs, snowy landscapes, and Tibetan Buddhism, is increasingly favored by tourists from all over the world. However, the following matters should be noted when traveling to Tibet:
• Tibet is a high-altitude region. Tourists and their guardians should fully understand the risks of traveling to the plateau. Tourists with medical conditions that contraindicate high-altitude travel (such as obvious lesions in the heart, lungs, brain, liver, or kidneys, as well as those with severe anemia, high blood pressure, or severe colds) are not permitted to join the tour. • Speak softly and walk slowly on the plateau. Drink more water and eat more fruit if you have no adverse reactions. Eat only about 70% full to avoid increasing the burden on your stomach. Carry some high-calorie snacks with you (such as chocolate, beef jerky, biscuits, etc.). The plateau consumes physical strength, so replenish it promptly. Tourists who are in sub-health or have underlying health conditions should carry some American ginseng with them and keep it in their mouths to ensure physical strength and resistance. Corresponding schedules are also two hours later than in the mainland, and tourists need to adjust accordingly, especially regarding waking up and meals, using "Tibetan time." • For your safety, please do not leave the group or alter the itinerary without permission. If you go out in the evening, please travel with companions and be sure to return to the hotel before 12:00 AM to avoid affecting the next day's itinerary. The sun is strong in Tibet and the climate is particularly dry, so sunscreen, sunglasses, lip balm, sun hats, etc. are essential. Tibet is mainly inhabited by Tibetan people, so please respect local customs. When visiting temples, turn clockwise. Photography, hats, and miniskirts are not allowed inside the temples. When talking with locals, do not discuss political issues and do not eat dog meat, monkey meat, horse meat, donkey meat, etc. When Tibetan people offer tea or wine, try to drink it.
