  • Participants must be aged 10+ to participate in this activity

  • After your scuba diving experience, it is highly encouraged that you wait 24 hours before flying

  • Although not mandatory, it is recommended that you purchase accident and/or travel insurance before participating in this activity

  • Guests are required to sign a liability waiver form that informs them of the risks of the activity

  • Certification depends on your ability and your mastery of the skills and cannot be guaranteed

  • Please seek medical clearance from a physician before taking a PADI diving course

  • Please note: Participants must arrive with a morning ferry and depart with an afternoon ferry on the last day to have enough time to complete the course

  • There are various restaurants within easy walking distance from the resorts offering local and western cuisine with the highlight being fresh seafood BBQ

  • Electrical outlet is 220 Volt AC, using three rectangular prongs similar to British plugs

  • Free WiFi internet service for our customers is available at our dive centers, Tioman Dive Resort and Dormitory

  • Ideally guests take a morning ferry and return on the final day with a ferry in the afternoon

  • Tanjung Gemok: Take the morning ferry ride from Tanjung Gemok Jetty to Tioman Island. Tanjung Gemok is located 40 minutes north of Mersing
  • Mersing: Take the ferry from Mersing to Tioman Island, ferries out from Mersing run multiple times daily. However, the departure time might change as the ferry can only depart during high tide
