• [Attraction/experience] Trek to Chancellor Dome Summit (2,004m), Begin your guided ascent through snowgrass basins with stunning views of Mt Tasman
• [Attraction/experience] Reach the Summit of Chancellor Dome, Celebrate your achievement with panoramic views of the Southern Alps and Fox Glacier below
• [Attraction/experience] Return to Chancellor Hut, Descend to the hut surrounded by alpine tussock for a well-earned rest

Day 2

• [Attraction/experience] Descend Toward Victoria Flat, Trek down through the alpine vegetation zones toward the glacier
• [Attraction/experience] Explore Victoria Flat Ice Formations, Discover the fascinating ice features and textures of Victoria Flat with your guide
• [Return] 15:30, at Fox Glacier Township, Board the helicopter for a scenic return flight, capturing one last aerial view of the glacier valley. Arrive back in Fox Glacier Township by early afternoon

Eligibility

• Minimum age: Age 13 (must present a valid photo ID)

Booking limitations

• Minimum of 3 people required (if you are participating on your own the operator will extend every effort to put you on a trip with other people so your activity can proceed)

• Fitness level: Good level of fitness and agility is required. No previous mountaineering experience is necessary

Additional information

• Language level: A good level of English language skills is essential
• Please make sure that you fuel up with an energy-giving breakfast, you’ll need it!
• Backpack, wool hat and gloves, boots and socks, gaitors, rain proof jacket, and over trousers can be provided free of charge
• Vegetarian options are available for the meals. Kindly indicate your dietary preferences at checkout page
• Drones are illegal to use in the area, so please leave it in the car if you have one
