Yarra Valley Wine Tasting & Bike Tour

Itinerary

• Start your day with a leisurely morning bike ride through the scenic countryside of the Yarra Valley, passing farms, vineyards and local produce stores
• Stop for morning tea at a local winery or the iconic Carriage Cafe
• Ride along the Warburton Rail Trail and pedal past Australian native animals including kangaroos, cockatoos, rainbow lorikeets
• Enjoy a wood fired pizza for lunch with a glass of wine, beer or soft drink
• Visit one or two of the wineries such as Yering Station and Domaine Chandon, or a smaller boutique Yarra Valley winery
• If time allows, stop by the local cheese factory or chocolate factory (purchases at own expense)

• Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe footwear for cycling up to 20 kms

If you will not be self-driving to the Meet Up Location (Mount Evelyn Memorial Gardens), alternative pick up from the nearest train station is available

• How to get there: Catch a suburban train to Lilydale Train Station (1 hour journey from Flinders Street Station in Melbourne CBD). Depart train and walk down the ramp to meet Tour Guide at the bus/taxi zone area. You will be driven 15 minutes to the tour start point. At the end of the day Cycling VineTours will return you to the train station.
