The aquarium staff can only speak Japanese. If you need explanation in other languages, please rent an audio guide when you get there
Visitors may re-enter the Aquarium as many times as they wish on the same day. Please put a re-entry stamp on the back of your hand if you intend to re-enter. Show the stamp to a staffer upon re-entry.
Please refrain from eating or drinking while walking in the Aquarium. Please consume all food and beverages at the designated locations (3rd floor Stadium in the North Building, Shiokaze Plaza in the North Building, 2nd floor vending machine corner [drinks only] in the South Building).
Please refrain from smoking in areas except for the designated locations (two locations on the 3rd floor roof of the North Building, Shiokaze Plaza in the North Building, and outside the exits of both the North and South Buildings).
For the protection of the animals, please refrain from taking flash photography in prohibited areas. Additionally, please do not use lights while taking video.
For the protection of the animals, please refrain from bringing balloons into the Aquarium. We reserve the right to refuse entry of any visitors with belongings deemed dangerous by our staff.
We do not check any baggage. Please use the coin lockers available on the left side of the Entrance (300 yen for large, 200 yen for small).
Staff is available for guests requiring disability assistance
