Paragliding Adventure with Wanaka Paragliding

Eligibility

• A minimum weight of 35kg

• Children aged 5-8 must be accompanied by a paying adult

• No prior experience needed. This activity is safe for beginners to participate

• Participants must weigh between 35kg-98kg for this activity

Additional information

• Guests are required to sign a liability waiver form that informs them of the risks of the activity

• The maximum weight limit is 120 kg for Paragliding. However, the weight limitations were reduced to 110 kg from April to May

• Photos and videos are available using a GoPro that captures you, your pilot, and the amazing scenery around you. They are available to purchase on landing. Please enquire at the time of departure

• Passengers are required to call +64-080-075-987-3 one hour before their check-in time for a weather check and booking confirmation

• If you self-drive, you must have a driver with you to drive your vehicle down the mountain as you will land at the base of the mountain and do not drive back up

• No parking at Skytrek Check-in. Paid parking is available on the outskirts of town but please leave plenty of time as departure times are strictly followed

• If the flight is cancelled by the operator due to weather conditions the flight can be transferred to another date or a full refund can be given

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before departure will incur no fee, while those made between 48 and 24 hours prior will incur a 50% fee, and cancellations within 24 hours of departure will be charged at full price

Prohibitions & Limitations

• The activity is not recommended: other serious medical conditions / PWDs (persons with disabilities) / infants
• Participants who appear intoxicated may be refused service. In this case, no refunds will be given
• Fitness Level Requirement: Beginner
• Please be mindful not to feed the marine / wild animals or engage in any activity that may damage the ecosystem
