A museum dedicated to showcasing "The Tale of Genji," a classic masterpiece of Japanese literature, and its related culture.

Genji no Yu is the only natural hot spring in Uji City.

Nara Park is a comprehensive park that combines natural landscapes, historical sites, and culture.

You can purchase feed within the park to feed the Nara deer and interact with them up close.

Please be careful not to tease or scare the Nara deer.

Tōdai-ji Temple, an important temple in Nara Park

The deer surrounding the temple are regarded as messengers of Kasuga Taisha Shrine.

Kasuga Taisha Shrine is a typical example of Kasuga-style architecture.

We recommend Mentouan, a well-known noodle shop famous for its unique udon noodles.

The udon noodles are cleverly hidden inside a fortune bag (tofu skin). Cutting open the bag reveals the udon noodles perfectly blended with the rich curry broth, creating a delightful and ritualistic experience.
