• The Changing of the Guards is subject to changes in date, time and cancellation at the discretion of British authorities. Cancellation due to bad weather or other circumstances is not announced before the morning of the ceremony. When this occurs, you will be provided with a walking tour of Westminster city instead
• Please note that the changing of the guard schedule may change and on different dates you will see either Foot Guards or Horse Guards
• There is no Changing of the Foot Guards on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday, so you'll be provided with a walking tour of Westminster City. You may be able to see the Changing of the Horse Guards at Horse Guards Parade, but that's not guaranteed
• Please note that the duration of the tour may vary from 2.5 hours to 4 hours, depending on the entry time at Buckingham Palace.
• On Sundays, a slightly different version of the ceremony takes place, known as the "Sunday Parade".

How to get there

• Take the tube to Piccadilly Circus and take exit No. 3 onto Regent Street/St James's. Walk south down Regent Street towards St James's Park (do not walk north towards Oxford Street). Waterloo Place is at the end of Regent Street. You will see the tall column with a statue on top
• You can also arrive via Charing Cross Station. Walk down the Mall towards Buckingham Palace. You will see the statue on your right at the top of some steps
