Equipment List

    1. Hiking Backpack: A 10L~20L backpack to carry a camera, beverages, snacks, warm clothing, etc. during the hike.
    1. Low-cut Hiking Shoes: Hiking in mountainous areas can be strenuous. Loose gravel, slopes, and muddy sections during the rainy season are common. It is recommended to wear waterproof hiking shoes that have been broken in (new shoes that have not been broken in can easily cause blisters).
    1. Clothing: There is a large temperature difference between morning and evening in the mountains. In autumn and winter, you need to prepare warm gloves, knitted hats, breathable and warm underwear, fleece-lined jackets, and hiking pants. A down jacket should be prepared as a backup. It may be hot during the hike, so quick-drying clothes are needed. Prepare sunscreen, sunglasses, and outdoor headscarves. The plateau light is very strong, so it is best to prepare sunglasses. Outdoor headscarves can prevent sunburn on the neck and can also be pulled up to cover the face.
    1. Personal Items: Insulated water bottle, ID card, student ID, or other valid personal identification. PS: Accommodations for outdoor routes are generally located in remote rural mountain areas, and conditions are not comparable to those in cities. Guests with severe cleanliness concerns may bring their own disposable bedding.
    1. Trail Snacks: Hiking can be physically demanding, so we recommend bringing lightweight, high-energy foods such as beef jerky, chocolate, Snickers bars, nuts (cashews/almonds/peanuts), raisins, and banana chips.
    1. Commonly Used Medicines: Personal medications, altitude sickness medication, cold medicine, bandages, motion sickness patches, etc. Due to different blood types and skin types, some people may be susceptible to mosquito bites. Travelers with sensitive skin should prepare mosquito repellent.

Registration Requirements

    1. Unlike traditional tour groups, outdoor travel activities do not include mandatory shopping or babysitting services. Participants should be cooperative, helpful, and avoid being overly sensitive or demanding. All itineraries are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather, road conditions, individual physical fitness, tourist attractions, and travel and flight schedules. Please plan your travel time accordingly.
    1. Pre-trip Group Chat: Customer service staff will add participants of the same trip to an activity WeChat group 3-7 days before the trip. This allows everyone to communicate and get to know each other in advance.
    1. The customer service representative or tour leader will provide the departure time and meeting location in the activity group on the day before the departure.
    1. Personal Belongings: Please take good care of your personal belongings during transportation, accommodation, and travel. You will be solely responsible for any loss or damage.
    1. Insurance Information: Please provide your personal information (name, age, ID card or passport information) to customer service when registering, so that we can purchase travel insurance for you in advance.
    1. Risk Statement: Due to the heavy load on vehicles in high-altitude areas, breakdowns may occur and affect the itinerary. Travelers should be prepared for this possibility. In the event of changes to the tour itinerary due to force majeure factors such as special weather conditions or adjustments to scenic area policies, refunds will be provided for the entrance tickets of the unvisited attractions, or the itinerary will be adjusted according to the actual situation. Any additional expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the traveler. No refunds will be given for unused vehicle or accommodation expenses during the tour due to the traveler's reasons.
  • P.S. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: natural disasters such as road construction, landslides, road repairs, fires, earthquakes, and floods during the trip; suspension of transportation; restrictions by national policies or government actions; and sudden riots or infectious diseases in the destination, as well as other abnormal social events.
    1. If the activity cannot proceed due to insufficient group size, we will contact you 3-7 days prior to the scheduled date to discuss adjusting the travel date or changing to an equivalent activity. If adjustments cannot be made, we will provide a full refund of the fees already paid.
    1. Discount Policy: Please bring valid identification, such as a military officer's card, student ID, or disability certificate, as required by national regulations for ticket exemptions. The authenticity of the documents will be verified by景区 staff before entering the attraction. (If eligible for a discount, the guide will refund the difference based on the company's discounted purchase price. Ticket discounts are not based on the listed price.) Discounted prices are subject to景区 policy. After the tour, customer service will refund the difference uniformly (group discount price minus the certificate discount price).
    1. Objective conditions: The economic level along this route is relatively underdeveloped, and overall conditions are poor. Water and power outages occur frequently in some areas. On cloudy days, hot water is often unavailable for showering, and accommodation facilities are backward. Tourists should be mentally prepared in advance. If you are dissatisfied with the accommodation, you can request a partial refund of the room fee at the registration point one day before check-in and book another inn yourself. If you need to change rooms temporarily after arriving at the inn, the cost of the room being vacant that night will be deducted. If you do not need to stay for the remaining nights, you can check out early and book another inn yourself.
    1. Tour Information: The tour leader reserves the right to adjust the itinerary without changing the content of visits and attractions.
    1. Departure from the Group: If you wish to leave the group before the scheduled departure, you must sign a departure agreement with the tour leader. Upon signing, the travel agreement will be terminated, and you will be solely responsible for all safety responsibilities and expenses incurred after leaving the group.
    1. Rights to Use Materials: As the organizer of the event, we reserve the right to use all photos, videos, and other materials taken during the travel activity.
    1. Diqing Prefecture is located in a high-altitude plateau region. If you experience altitude-related symptoms (headache, shortness of breath, dizziness or mild headache, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting, rapid heart rate), please avoid strenuous exercise, maintain emotional stability, get plenty of rest and stay warm, and promptly inform our tour leader or customer service. Even if you are in excellent health, do not overexert yourself and pay attention to and adjust your pace at all times.

Event Notice

    1. Disclose any medical conditions and allergies. Participants with heart disease or high blood pressure should not engage in high-altitude trekking. Promptly report any physical discomfort. Individuals who conceal their medical conditions will be responsible for any consequences.
    1. In the event of sudden weather changes, strong winds, blizzards, acute altitude sickness of team members, or any situation involving personal safety, the team leader has the right to terminate the activity for the individual member or the entire team.
    1. Damaging the environment within the designated activity areas of the itinerary is prohibited.
    1. Respect local customs, traditions, and religious practices.
    1. Protect wild flora and fauna; do not hunt, kill, or damage them. Protect the environment and take your trash down the mountain for disposal.
    1. You must follow the instructions of the tour leader during the hike; otherwise, you will be responsible for all consequences arising therefrom.
    1. No refunds will be given for activities that cannot be completed due to personal reasons (physical strength, equipment, or illness) or natural factors. Any additional costs incurred will be borne by the participant.
    1. Drinking alcohol to excess is strictly prohibited in high-altitude areas. Participants must not leave the group without authorization. If a participant wishes to leave the group, they must inform the tour leader and sign a departure agreement.
    1. Practice time management, communicate more, and be harmonious, inclusive, and unbiased; advocate for environmentally friendly and pure outdoor activities.
