Eligibility

  • Free for high school students and younger; free for those with a physical disability/mental disability health welfare/rehabilitation notebook, those presenting a Mirairo ID, and one accompanying person.

  • No application is required for free participants.

  • Electronic tickets cannot be used by people who are 65 years of age or older, who are using reciprocal discounts at the Bunka no Mori around Kenrokuen Garden, who are entering in a group (20 or more people), and who are eligible for various discounts. Please purchase tickets at the counter on the day of your visit.

  • For details on various discounts on admission fees, etc., please check the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art website.

  • Additional fees apply for special exhibitions and planned exhibitions

  • Discounted rates will be applied from April 1st (Wednesday) to 13th (Monday), June 6th (Saturday) to 21st (Sunday), and March 30th (Tuesday) to March 31st (Wednesday), so please purchase tickets at the counter on the day of your visit

  • If you purchase a ticket for the special exhibitions sponsored by our museum: 40th Anniversary of Rei Kamoi Exhibition'' (April 25th to May 24th), Wajima Nuri'' (June 27th to August 2nd), and ``Shugoro Hasuda'' (September 20th to October 25th), you will also be able to view the collection exhibition. There is no need to purchase multiple collection exhibition tickets.*Paper tickets are sold at the counter on the day.

How to get there

  • By train: From JR Kanazawa Station Bus Terminal Kenrokuen Exit (East Exit), take a route bus and get off at "Dewacho" or "Hirosaka 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art", then walk 5 minutes.
  • By car: 20-30 minutes from Hokuriku Expressway "Kanazawa Nishi" or "Kanazawa Morimoto" IC. There is a parking lot (free of charge) for visitors only.
