Itinerary

• The entire experience lasts 3-3.5 hours in total so usually completed between 9-10am
• Night before your flight (after 6pm) : You'll receive a text from the Pilot advising the updated weather information and exact meeting time.
• 1.5 hours before sunrise (time confirmed night before) : Meet pilots and crew at at designated time and venue; Global Ballooning Australia will drive all passengers to the launch site.
• Launch: Passengers assist with the set up / inflation of the balloon
• Sunrise: Flight for approximately 1 hour
• Land: The pilot will land the balloon; passengers can assist to pack up the balloon
• Drop off: All passengers are driven back to meeting point

Eligibility

• Participants must be aged 6+ to participate in this activity

Additional information

• Although not mandatory, it is recommended that you purchase accident and/or travel insurance before participating in this activity

• Pregnant women cannot participate in this activity

• Participants must indicate their weight (kg) at the checkout page

• Do not bring any bags as these will not be allowed on the balloon. You can leave them in the ground crew vehicle whilst on your flight or leave them at home/in your hotel

• All participants need to check if their flight is going ahead the night before anytime after 18:00

• This package is wheelchair accessible on request only. Based on availability

• Participants must indicate any wheelchair accessibility requirements at the checkout page

• Participants requiring the use of the wheelchair accessible baskets are required to share the experience with a carer/helper/friend/family member on the morning, along with other passengers flying in the same basket
