If the boardwalk is under maintenance, closed due to strong winds, or inaccessible for other reasons, the tour guide will take you to the Cape Kamui Observatory for a photo opportunity and will explain the situation on-site. As it will not be possible to walk into the Cape Kamui scenic area, the duration of the itinerary will be shortened accordingly, and the time will be adjusted to extend the tour of the Otaru area to ensure the overall trip remains fulfilling and smooth.
