This is a valuable opportunity to observe a morning training session at the prestigious "Takasago Beya" stable, which has produced six grand champion sumo wrestlers.
Asashoryu, the first sumo wrestler from Mongolia to reach the rank of Yokozuna (grand champion), also trained in this stable. You can feel the weight of history here.
After watching approximately 90 minutes of practice, you can take a commemorative photo with the sumo wrestlers. Please be quiet during practice.
The Takasago stable is a 10-minute walk from Honjo-azumabashi Station on the subway. After sumo practice, please enjoy sightseeing in Asakusa. (The cost of sightseeing in Asakusa is not included in the tour participation fee.)

  • Please arrive at the meeting location 10 minutes prior to departure.
  • Please refrain from loud conversations as the sumo wrestlers are practicing seriously.
  • Please remove your hat and sunglasses while inside the sumo stable.
