Tickets are required for children under 3 years old if a seat is needed. The price is the same as for adults, and a note is required.
Children under 2 years old can participate for free without occupying a seat, but it needs to be noted. If there is no note, arrangements cannot be made.

The Amaterasu Railway is not operating every third Thursday of the month. The miniature train experience will not be available on these days, so please plan your visit accordingly. We are not responsible for closures due to weather conditions or holidays. In these cases, the tour will be changed to a visit to Takachiho Shrine.

If the minimum number of participants required for the tour is not met, the tour will be canceled and an email notification will be sent 1 day prior to departure.

In case of inclement weather conditions such as typhoons or blizzards, a decision will be made on whether to cancel the tour 1 day prior to departure (local time 18:00). You will be notified of the decision via email.
No refunds will be issued for abandoning the tour mid-trip due to personal reasons.

Vehicle Type: Vehicle assigned based on the number of people in the group. For smaller groups, the driver will also serve as the on-board staff to provide full travel services. A separate tour leader will not be assigned.
Weather conditions can affect the optimal viewing period for flowers or autumn leaves. Tours will not be canceled or refunded due to weather conditions.
Due to large crowds during the flower/autumn foliage seasons, heavy traffic congestion is expected. We recommend bringing your own snacks.
After the tour commences, if the itinerary is terminated due to force majeure events such as weather conditions or natural disasters, a refund will be processed for the unfulfilled portion of the itinerary based on actual expenses incurred. However, additional expenses such as return transportation or local accommodation costs will be the responsibility of the traveler.
