• Colosseum Super Sites are seven special historic areas within the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill that go beyond the outdoor ruins, offering a deeper, more immersive experience of ancient Rome

• For safety reasons, the Colosseum can only accommodate up to 3,000 people at once and this may lead to delays in access to the site

• It is necessary to go through a security check with the metal detector and to carry out the ticketing arrangements and present a valid photo ID or passport before entering the Colosseum

• Extra measures may be implemented at some venues due to heightened global security. As a result, there might be delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering these venues. Extra measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside.
