• Children aged 13+ will be charged the same rate as adults
• Free for children aged 0-2
• Infants aged 0-2 require a free ticket
• Important: Infants and children must be included in the passenger headcount

The Timber Trail

• Basic cycling skills and fitness are required to ride at least 40 km
• There is very minimal/no cellphone coverage along the majority of the trail
• The Timber Trail is 82 km long and runs from Pureora in the north to Ongarue in the south. The trail is graded easy-intermediate (Grade 2 - 3) and runs along old bush tramlines and purpose-built single track. It is important to note the Timber Trail is in the backcountry with no escape routes
• The Timber Trail is very well signposted. There are kilometer markers every kilometer and directional markers whenever there is a fork in the track

Accommodation

• Camp Arrival: Check-in from 14:00 onwards; Check-out by 10:00
• Twin bed tent: 1 - 2 people
• Family tent: 1 - 4 people
• Infants must share a bed with parents or be in a porta-cot (Porta-cot available on request only)
• Tent site: Please bring your own tent (No camper van/caravan sites available)

• The activity is prohibited for: other serious medical conditions

What to bring

• Change of clothes / Trail food / Towel / Water bottle
• If staying in canvas tents, all bedding and towels are provided by the operator. If staying on a tent site, guests need their own tent, bed, bedding, towel, etc. Bring warm gear for the evening, as it can get very cold at night all year round
