- Zookeeper chats daily schedule: Please referhere for zookeeper chats sharing fascinating insigghts and heartwarming tales from the frontlines of animal care
- What to wear: Closed-toed, comfortable walking shoes (Zoo trails are made of gravel)
- No animals may be brought to the zoo or left in the car on the parking
- No water fountains are available at the zoo. Guests may bring food and beverages or purchase bottled water at the gift shop
- Animal feed for goats, deer, llamas, alpacas, and sheep is available for purchase at the gift shop
- The animal feeding area for sheep, deer, goats, llamas and alpacas are located at the Hoofstock Feeding Area
Zoo train:
- This train operates daily except inclement weather conditions are experienced
- Tickets are payable onsite at USD 5 plus tax, this can be purchased at the Train Depot inside the zoo
- The last train departs 1 hour before the zoo’s closing time
- Guests are allowed to bring their own food and drinks for the day and enjoy a leisurely picnic at the Picnic Grove
- The venue offer grab and go items such as sandwiches, snack packs, desserts and beverages in the gift shop
- Please do not share any food or beverages with the animals onsite
- Prohibited items: Glass containers, weapons, drones, wheel-based recreational items (Bicycles, tricycles & scooters)
- Balloons outside the Events Pavilion for birthday parties are not allowed
- Service animals with valid identification must be leashed at all times. Animals may be asked to leave if disruptive or not under control, for the safety and comfort of the zoo’s animals
- Pets must not be left in vehicles in the on-site parking area
- Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited on zoo grounds for the health and comfort of the venue's guests and animals. Smoking is permitted in the parking lot
Stroller and wheelchair rental: A driver’s license must be presented and held by the clerk until the stroller or wheelchair is returned. The rental amount will be refunded upon return
