Overview

Discover the most extensive ruins of the Champa dynasty in My Son, a kingdom of the 4th to 13th centuries. The impressive history of the Cham people stretches beyond Vietnam; their influence had spread to Laos and parts of Cambodia with My Son being the religious, political and cultural center of the kingdom. Only twenty structures of the ancient temples have survived the many years of decay and looting but coupled with the impressive lush jungle landscape, it remains a sight to behold. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the statues and decorative stonework that are visible show the remains of the impressive reign of the Cham monarchs.
