  • 90 minute drive to Nayapul
  • Begin 6 hour trek to Ulleri, passing through sub tropical valley forests
  • Cross the Modi Khola river via a suspension bridge and continue on to Tikhedhunga village
  • Climb up 3,300 steps to Ulleri
  • Overnight in Ulleri (2,050m)

  • Begin the ascent to Ghorepani village, an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's stop
  • Admire the panoramic views of surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri
  • Overnight in Ghorepani (2,750m)

  • Day 3 Ghorepani - Poon Hill - Ghandruk
  • 6-7 hour trek
  • Get an early start to Poon Hill (3,210m) via a steep trail
  • Catch the sunrise over the Himalayas and enjoy wonderful views of the Mustang and Pokhara valleys
  • Return back to Ghorepani
  • Continue your descent to the village of Ghandruk, a sloping settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by Gurung people
  • Admire the stunning views of Fishtail, Annapurna South and Hiuchuli mountains
  • Get acquainted with the rich cultural traditions of the Gurung people at the Gurung Museum in Ghandruk

  • Accommodation

  • You will stay in teahouse lodges throughout the trek

  • Private rooms are available at lower altitudes. At higher altitudes, the rooms are dormitory style

  • Toilets are shared, blankets are provided and running water is available

  • Majority of teahouses have cold showers, some provide hot water at additional cost

  • Some teahouses have electricity where you can charge your appliances (mobile phones and cameras) at an additional cost
